Turquoise Hummingbird Necklace

Description

Nine turquoise Hand carved humming birds (carved by Stephanie and Matthew Mitchell in NM) are strung on turquoise beads.  Each unique bird is framed by red coral.   The necklace has a 5 inch chain so you can adjust it from 24-29 inches.  Layer it with the shorter chunky winged turquoise humming bird necklace and/or a Bird on Top of the world pendant, or wear it alone, or with matching earrings.

The other two necklaces pictured are sold separately.

The tuquoise and coral stones and silver beads honor the great SW Native American silversmiths (many of whom are Dine’).  Their beautiful work frequently, but not always (as some break w/or expand on traditional designs) incorporates turquoise, coral, and silver, stones and metal many of us in NM grew up respecting and loving.
